Two quick things when you install.
1) It downloads as a .zip. Right-click it and choose Extract All, then open the installer inside. (The zip just stops your browser from wrongly flagging the download.)
2) SmartScreen. Hawser isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC." Click More info, then Run anyway to install. This goes away once signing is active.

After installing, sign in with your Hawser account email and you're set.
Hawser will start with Windows by default (you can turn that off during
install or in Settings later).
And on your phone beta
There's nothing to install from a store. Open gethawser.com/app on your phone, sign in with the same account, and add it to your home screen. It's for catching a thought when you're away from your desk: a brain dump box and your notes, and that's genuinely all it does so far. It works with no signal and sends what you wrote once you're back online. Turn on sync in the desktop app's Settings and the two stay in step.
